The Board of Election Commissioners of Faulkner County, Arkansas, do hereby give notice that an election shall be held on November 5, 2024, for the General, Nonpartisan Runoff and Annual School, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated §7-5-202, for all eligible voters.

In case of inclement weather during Early Voting, only the Faulkner County Courthouse will be open for Early Voting.
Notice of closing will be posted on our website and social media https://www.votefaulkner.com/,
https://www.facebook.com/fcecarkansas/, https://twitter.com/FCECarkansas, and at each Early Vote Center. Local media outlets will also be notified.

To request an absentee ballot, contact the County Clerk’s Office. 801 Locust St, Conway, AR. 501-450-4909. Office Hours
are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Absentee ballots will be processed and canvassed beginning October 29, 2024, and will continue each day after as needed. Absentee ballots will be opened and canvassed on November 5, 2024.

Avoid Causing Wait Lines, Be Prepared to Vote

(DO ALL THE FOLLOWING BEFORE HEADING TO THE POLL)

  1. BE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED and verify your address information is correct.
    You may check your registration at the Secretary of State’s Web site: https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org.
    If you have moved you will need to update that information.
  2. NAME CHANGE forms need to be completed before you come to the poll.
    ADDRESS CHANGE forms need to be completed before you come to the poll.Change forms may be downloaded at  http://www.faulknercounty.org/government/departments/county-clerk/voting-information-forms
    You may also pick them up from the Faulkner Country Clerk’s office in the Court House.
  3. I.D. is now required to vote.

A list of election officials appointed to conduct this election will be posted for public viewing at the Faulkner County Clerk’s Office no later than October 11, 2024. Any objections to appointed election officials shall be made in writing to the Faulkner County Election Commission, 801 Locust St, Conway, AR, 72034. An objection that an official is a spouse of a county election commissioner, a county party chair, or a spouse of a county party chair must be filed within 7 days of October 11. An objection that an official is married to a candidate or related to a candidate within the second degree of consanguinity must be made within 10 days of October 11.

Ballots will be made available no later than 20 days before the election.
Sample ballots will also be available at all vote centers. Ballot order for each candidate was determined by drawing for the order in a public meeting.
